REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT

Haryana exhibits diverse geographical and socio-economic landscapes, each with its distinct development needs. Rural areas encounter challenges in terms of essential infrastructure, including roads, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions. Moreover, economic and gender disparities contribute to higher unemployment rates in these regions. In line with our strategic foresight approach, we shall prioritize regional development strategies to address these disparities and promote inclusive growth. Empowering local self-government institutions plays a pivotal role in effectively addressing the specific needs and aspirations of different regions. By engaging with stakeholders and leveraging the expertise of local communities, we can foster a participatory approach that allows for effective decision-making and implementation.
